A/C Caps on the Market
Traditional A/C caps don’t seal — they’re just dust covers. Even with brand-new Schrader valves, you’ll lose up to 10% of your refrigerant every year. If there’s a larger leak, you could lose it all in minutes or days — costing you $400–$1,000 or more in repairs, parts, and recharge labor.
Until now, no A/C cap could stop that.
A/C Quick Caps™ are the first and only caps engineered to fully seal refrigerant in.
No more trying to find the right cap, the one size fits all means all you need to know is your refrigerant type. It's fast, easy, and leak proof!

Schrader valves are designed to fill and service A/C systems, not to hold high-pressure refrigerant over time. Even brand-new valves leak slowly, and once the seal degrades, refrigerant escapes quickly — draining your system, damaging your compressor, and leaving you with a costly repair.
To make matters worse, vehicle-specific A/C caps are often hard to find, easy to mismatch, and still don’t stop leaks.
We engineered a completely new kind of A/C cap.

Tested. Proven.
Trusted.
It's not just better - it's a new standard.
A/C Quick Caps have been bench-tested with Schrader valves removed, holding full refrigerant pressure for weeks at a time — with the only seal being our cap.
No leaks. No pressure loss. No failures.

A/C QuickCaps are leakproof universal A/C service port caps that replace traditional plastic caps. While plastic caps act only as dust covers, A/C QuickCaps use a patented design with blocking ball bearings and durable O-rings to form a pressure-sealing barrier, helping prevent refrigerant leaks from your A/C system.
Traditional plastic caps were never designed to hold refrigerant pressure and are prone to leaking. A/C QuickCaps provide a real seal at the service ports, minimizing refrigerant loss, protecting your A/C system from damage, and reducing environmental harm.
Yes. A/C QuickCaps are designed to work with Schrader valves. Although our caps have been tested in lab settings without Schrader valves, this is not recommended for use in the field. QuickCaps are meant to add an extra layer of protection—capturing refrigerant that may leak past the Schrader valve, which traditional plastic caps cannot do.
Yes! A/C QuickCaps are universal for vehicles and equipment that use either R-134a or R-1234yf refrigerant. Each pack includes both high and low-side caps for the chosen refrigerant type, making them a simple, all-in-one solution that replaces mismatched, leaky caps across various vehicles and systems.

Installation is quick and tool-free:
- Remove the old cap.
- Clean the service port area.
- Pull up the outer ring of the Quick Cap.
- Push the cap down onto the port and release the ring. You’ll hear a click — that’s your seal engaging.
- To remove, pull up on the outer ring and lift off the cap. It installs just like gauge fittings or refrigerant can connectors.
Absolutely. Traditional caps often allow up to 5–10% refrigerant loss per year, especially as cars today carry less refrigerant. AC Quick Caps significantly reduce leakage by providing a second, airtight seal at the service port—even if your Schrader valve begins to fail.
Not necessarily. QuickCaps can seal over leaking Schrader valves. Simply remove your gauges and install the caps. Their patented leakproof design will contain the refrigerant, saving you from expensive repairs or recharging services down the line.
Look under the hood—most vehicles have a refrigerant label indicating the type and quantity. If the label is missing, call your dealership with the vehicle VIN. In general:
- Vehicles made between 1994–2016 likely use R-134a.
- Vehicles made after 2016 often use R-1234yf, but always confirm before ordering.
If you notice oily residue, bubbles around the Schrader valves, or reduced cooling, it’s likely your current caps (and possibly your valves) are leaking. When servicing the system, it’s smart to replace both the caps and Schrader valves. QuickCaps help lock in refrigerant after service to prevent future leaks and costly repairs.
Yes. QuickCaps are engineered to perform under the high pressure and temperature extremes typical in modern A/C systems. However, be cautious when removing caps from a hot vehicle—especially the high-side cap, which can become very hot during operation.
Yes. By preventing refrigerant leaks, QuickCaps help reduce harmful emissions and protect the ozone layer. They're a simple upgrade that helps the planet—while also saving you money on refrigerant and repair costs.
